On the 29th of March 2025, we had the absolute joy of photographing Wian & Fezeka’s wedding at the breathtaking Louvain Guest Farm in the Langkloof. From start to finish, their day was filled with love, laughter, colour, and so much fun.
The vibe was spot on from the moment guests started arriving—stylish, warm, and full of excitement. You could feel the buzz in the air, like everyone knew something really special was about to happen.
There’s something truly meaningful about the slower moments at the start of the day. Wian got ready with his brother and best friends, sipping on whiskey and chatting about the day ahead. It was laid-back, full of quiet confidence and brotherly love.
Over at Fezeka’s cottage, the energy was joyful and full of life. Her bridal party looked absolutely stunning and were bursting with excitement. Worship songs played in the background as they laughed, sang, and shared in the emotion of the moment. There were happy tears, tight hugs, and a beautiful sense of peace in the air. It was such a special start to an incredible day.
Their ceremony took place in a forest clearing where light filtered through the trees, highlighting all the beautiful colours and textures around them. It felt sacred and grounding—surrounded by nature, their people, and so much emotion. One of the moments that really stood out was Fezeka’s vows. She spoke with such grace and warmth, quoting Song of Solomon: “I have found my beloved.” It was quiet, powerful, and deeply moving—one of those moments that just sticks with you.
After the ceremony, we snuck off with the couple to one of the neighbouring farmer’s fields. Picture this: golden light pouring over the hills, a few sheep wandering around in the background, and two people completely wrapped up in each other. The light was absolutely dreamy and the whole setting felt effortless and peaceful. It wasn’t about posing or perfect angles—it was just Wian & Fezeka being themselves, soaking up the quiet and the magic of the moment.
Golden Moments..
As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the party kicked off—and wow, what a celebration! The reception was such a great mix of Afro House beats and all the classic favourites that had everyone on the dance floor (yes, everyone). From joyful twirls to shoes-off grooves, it was a night filled with laughter, movement, and so much love. Everywhere we looked, people were hugging, laughing, dancing—it was the kind of reception that felt like one big family reunion, with some seriously good music.
Looking back on Wian & Fezeka’s day, it’s hard not to smile. Every part of it felt intentional and joyful—from the colourful forest ceremony to the golden light in the fields and the packed dance floor under the stars. It was such a privilege to witness and capture it all. From the quiet moments to the big celebrations, everything about their day was full of meaning and heart.
Wian & Fezeka—thank you for trusting us with your story.
