Dani & Nick — An Intimate Italian Garden Wedding in George

Dani & Nick’s wedding was the kind that feels like a warm summer lunch with your favourite people—laid-back, full of joy, and bursting with good food, laughter, and love.

They tied the knot at Il Giardino, a little Italian gem tucked inside the George Botanical Gardens. The ceremony was held under the open sky, and just as they said “I do,” a cheer erupted and guests launched colourful streamers into the air. It was the perfect start to a day that never took itself too seriously, but still held so much meaning.

Live saxophone filled the garden (shoutout to Sax in Public), and the outdoor dance floor came alive under streamers strung from a tree. There was no official order or timeline—just great vibes, woodfired pizza, shared platters, a tequila bar, and people dancing in the sunshine like no one was watching. Best of all, it was shot completely documentary-style. No poses, no staging—just real moments unfolding. We snuck in a few quick family photos, but otherwise, the entire day was beautifully unscripted.

Dani & Nick, your wedding was pure joy and full of heart. Thank you for inviting us in to capture it all just as it happened. What a day!
